Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Palma lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Spanish culture. Live, learn, and work in Palma!

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Palma will open doors for you to explore Spain’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.      

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Bike along the bay of Palma passing by the Cathedral, the harbor, beaches, old fisherman villages, and ending at the long sand beach of El Arenal
  • Take a trip to Mallorca’s traditional family-owned winery, Macià Batle, founded in 1856
  • Visit Logitravel, an innovative online travel agency located at Parc Bit, to gain insights into their cutting-edge business operations
