Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Rabat lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Moroccan culture. Live, learn, and work in Rabat!

Samples of past excursions and activities:

  • Explore thousands of years of history with a guided tour of Rabat’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Old Medina and Kasbah 
  • Meet local changemakers that are running NGOs and building a more equitable future by supporting women, indigenous Amazigh people, and children 
  • Wander through the streets of Chefchaouen, the “Blue Peal of Morocco,” and watch the sun set over the city from the Spanish Mosque
