London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world and one of the most popular study abroad destinations. A sophisticated city with endless cultural, historic, artistic, political, and intellectual offerings, it’s also home to many universities scattered throughout different neighborhoods. London’s excellent public transportation system will take you easily from your housing to classes and anywhere else you want to go. The city’s train stations, bus networks, and airports make traveling throughout the U.K. and Europe a snap.

IFSA puts it all in reach, with an affordable program that features classes with IFSA study abroad students, taught by London-based faculty at the IFSA Program Center in Mayfair. Starting in Spring 2025, students have an additional 28 new classes to choose from, including options in business, computer science, and public health.
For deeper immersion, opt to enroll in one class at Queen Mary, University of London for an additional fee. One of the UK’s leading research-focused universities, Queen Mary offers high-caliber academics, including strong business and science programs, in the historic East End district.
IFSA’s Study in London program provides a compelling curriculum focuses on business, bioscience, health sciences, computer science, and psychology. Crafted for U.S. degree requirements and contemporary hot topics, you can select four to five IFSA classes for a total of 12-17 U.S. semester credit hours. You may opt to take one elective at Queen Mary, University of London for a supplemental fee.

Queen Mary, University of London Direct-Enroll Classes
Elective classes, including lab classes, are available at Queen Mary, University of London for a supplemental fee. You are limited to one class, and Queen Mary requires a 3.0 GPA minimum for enrollment.

CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS
Program activities are designed to enhance your intercultural competence by developing your understanding of the local culture and people. Activities are optional, but they are included in your total program fee. Activities vary each term based on availability, but activities may include:
