Spend the summer strengthening your German language skills and expanding your cultural knowledge of Germany in the city of Dortmund! The International Summer Program at Technische Universität (TU) Dortmund offers students an enriching academic experience with engaging and innovative courses. This program also provides cultural excursions to the surrounding areas to visit the historical cities of Cologne and Münster.

|Program credit||6-9 hours of GERM 298, 398, or 598 (depending on current level)|
|Program price||$5,000-$6,000 (depending on hours taken)|
|Program price includes||Tuition; housing, program-sponsored excursions, transportation upon arrival, local public transportation ticket, health insurance|
|Program price does not include||UM Study Abroad Application Fee, meals, personal spending money, passport fees, airfare|

In general, financial aid will apply to UM study abroad programs. All students should review the study abroad information on the Financial Aid Office website. It is the student’s responsibility to meet with a financial aid advisor to discuss how aid packages apply to study abroad.
Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing to study abroad and must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA.
Please make sure to read each document carefully when completing this application. Once you complete all sections of the application and have been accepted by the Study Abroad Office, you are considered COMMITTED.
