Sweeping ocean vistas, beautiful architecture, and narrow streets characterize palm-studded Cadiz–one of the most ancient continually inhabited cities in the western hemisphere. You’ll live with a great host family, take language classes at the University of Cadiz, and learn about the rich heritage and warm culture of the Andalucia region of Spain.

***Please note that there are two identical summer sessions of Spanish in Cadiz. The academic offering in both sessions is the same, only the program dates are different. Be sure to apply for the correct session!

|Prerequisites/Requirements||Minimum 2.5 GPA, good academic and disciplinary standing at UM, grade of C or better in most recently-completed Spanish course, approval from the UM Faculty Director (Dr. Fionda) and from your academic dean's office|
