Delve into fascinating courses in an inspirational landscape

Spend three weeks of your summer at a vibrant, community-rich, innovative, and renowned University in the scenic west of Ireland, earning credits and getting to know this fascinating land and its people. UL is one of the friendliest, most popular, and well-connected universities in Ireland, with strong ties to the community and a friendly, welcoming campus vibe that is a popular hit with international students. The University of Limerick Summer School offers an array of fascinating courses from which to choose. 

The program is taught by Irish experts who are also members of the university faculty. They will bring you along on a unique academic and experiential learning opportunity. Your coursework will consist of subject-related readings, as well as written and oral assignments. You'll study one course from UL's exciting selection, including Irish Studies (Literature, Theater, Communication, Creative Writing, & Legal Studies), Business (The Kemmy Business School is AACSB accredited), and Education Health Sciences.
 
  • Three, guided UL excursions will round out your academic experience by visiting Limerick city and environment; Dublin city; and the West of Ireland. These are included along with other cultural and program events.
 
  • UL’s multi-million dollar sports facility is home to the indomitable Munster rugby team and you can even get certified in scuba diving through the use of UL’s dive tank.
