CIEE Liberal Arts Program in Alicante, Spain
What better place to pursue your academic interests and improve your Spanish language skills than in the beautiful Spanish coastal city of Alicante. A unique combination of intensive language training, Spanish-taught courses in the humanities and social sciences, and direct enrollment opportunities at the Universidad de Alicante will ensure you're on your way to becoming fluent. Homestays, volunteering opportunities, internships for credit, and a variety of cultural activities and excursions will provide a truly immersive cultural experience.
Study abroad in Alicante and you'll:
- Become a member of a Spanish family or live in the dorms with peers
- Join a customized Language Commitment Program (QUIJOTES), a Conversational Exchange program (intercambios), and the Universidad de Alicante International Club
- Enroll directly in Universidad de Alicante courses alongside local Spanish students
- Participate in extracurricular activities and excursions in the Alicante province and Spain including visits to museums, sporting events, and theaters
