Our Calendar

The University of Mississippi exchange program welcomes students for summer terms, one semester, or the academic year.

The official Arrival Day for Fall 2026 is August 13, 2026. If you arrive on August 13 between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM at the Memphis International Airport (MEM), our staff or student volunteers will pick you up and transport you to Oxford, Mississippi, using our free shuttle service. If you plan to arrive before August 13, you must secure a hotel room near the airport until August 13 or arrange your own transportation to Oxford and stay in a hotel until on-campus housing opens on August 13.

Free transportation to and from Memphis International Airport (MEM) will only be provided on official Arrival Days and Departure Days.

International student orientation is mandatory for exchange students. Orientation takes place during Welcome Week from August 17 - 21, 2026 (Fall 2026) and January 11 - 15, 2027 (Spring 2027). You do not need to sign up or pay for orientation. As an incoming exchange student, we will provide information specific to you. We will anticipate your presence at orientation!


Current Costs

Depending upon your university’s exchange agreement with our university, the cost of studying at Ole Miss will vary. Please check with your home institution advisor as to which of the following agreements apply to you.

Types of Cost Agreements

Tuition-Only Exchanges

You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition costs. You should budget for housing and meals, health insurance, textbooks, the student health center visit, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.

Tuition, Housing, and Meals Exchanges (Sponsored Students)

You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition, housing, and meal benefits. The housing stipend provided will match the dollar equivalent of on-campus housing, and the meal stipend provided will match the dollar equivalent of a full (unlimited) meal plan. As a sponsored student, you should budget for health insurance, textbooks, tuberculosis testing, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.

Fee-Paying Exchange Students (Direct Enroll)

You will receive a scholarship that covers the non-resident tuition fee. As a direct enroll or fee-paying student, you should budget for tuition, health insurance, textbooks, tuberculosis testing, personal expenses, travel expenses, and additional fees.
 

Please note that our staff will do their best to keep this page updated with the current costs to study at Ole Miss, but costs are constantly updating. This webpage is not a contract or guarantee of costs, and costs may increase before the beginning of the academic year or semester. If costs are going to increase, they typically increase around July 1 for the upcoming academic year.
