Free transportation to and from the Memphis (MEM) airport will only be provided only on official Arrival and Departure Days.
Orientation is mandatory. Orientation takes place during Welcome Week from August 17 - 21, 2026 (Fall 2026) and January 11 - 15, 2027 (Spring 2027). You do not need to sign up or pay for orientation. As an incoming exchange student, we will have helpful information for you and will anticipate your presence at orientation!
Current Costs
Depending upon your university’s exchange agreement with UM, the cost of studying at Ole Miss will vary. Please check with your home institution advisor as to which of the following agreements apply to you:
You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition costs. You should budget for housing and meals, health insurance, textbooks, the student health center visit, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.
Tuition, Housing, and Meals Exchanges (Sponsored Students)
You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition, housing, and meal benefits (the dollar equivalent of housing on campus and the dollar equivalent of a full meal plan). You should budget for health insurance, textbooks, the student health center visit, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.
Fee-Paying Exchange Students (Direct Enroll)
You will receive a scholarship that covers the Non-Resident Fee. You should budget for tuition, health insurance, textbooks, the mandatory tuberculosis test, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.
