Munich, Germany's third largest city and the capital of the Free State of Bavaria, is indisputably the most charming, laid-back and safe city of its size anywhere in the world. It is also the leading business, media and research city in the south of Germany.  Munich's sights, from the famed Deutsches Museum of science and technology to Nymphenburg Castle, attract millions of tourists every year.

Students take intensive German at all levels and stay in single rooms in the GI's guesthouse.  Visit the Goethe Institut's website for details on Munich and accommodation.

Course Credit 6 hours of various German credit
Prerequisites Successful completion with a "C" or better in previous language course; none for beginners
Program Price $2,950
Program Price Includes Tuition, housing in guest house (single room), program-sponsored excursions, international health insurance
Program Price DOES NOT Include UM Study Abroad Application Fee, meals, airfare, ground transportation, personal spending money, passport and visa fees
