We welcome students for summer terms, one semester, or the academic year.

The Fall 2024 official arrival day is August 15, 2024. If you arrive on August 15  between 8:00 am and 10:00 PM at the Memphis, Tennessee airport (MEM), we will pick you up and transport you to Oxford, Mississippi with our free shuttle service. If you plan on arriving before August 15, you will need to secure a hotel room near the airport until August 15 or arrange your own transportation to Oxford and stay in a hotel until on-campus housing opens on August 15.

Free transportation to and from the Memphis (MEM) airport will only be provided on official Arrival and Departure Days.

Orientation is mandatory. Orientation takes place during Welcome Week from August 19 - 23, 2024. You do not need to physically sign up or pay for for orientation. As an incoming exchange student, we will have helpful information for you and will anticipate your presence at orientation!

Current Costs

Depending upon your university’s exchange agreement with UM, the cost of studying at Ole Miss will vary. Please check with your home institution advisor as to which of the following agreements apply to you:

 
Tuition-Only Exchanges
You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition costs. You should budget for housing and meals, health insurance, textbooks, the student health center visit, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.

Tuition, Housing, and Meals Exchanges (Sponsored Students)
You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition, housing, and meal benefits (the dollar equivalent of housing on campus and the dollar equivalent of a full meal plan). You should budget for health insurance, textbooks, the student health center visit, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.

Fee-Paying Exchange Students (Direct Enroll)
You will receive a scholarship that covers the Non-Resident Fee. You should budget for tuition, health insurance, textbooks, the mandatory tuberculosis test, personal expenses, travel expenses, and fees.
