Assistant Director of Study Abroad
Brad Noel advises students who are interested in studying abroad in a number of European countries. He assists UM faculty members in developing and managing their Faculty-Directed Programs and, due to his experienced knowledge in the field, serves as the liaison with the Office of Financial Aid. Brad has also worked to streamline and improve efficiency in administrative and application processes within the Study Abroad Office. In addition to his study abroad responsibilities, Brad has served as an EDHE 105 instructor on campus for nearly a decade and is a consummate teacher.
A native of Laurel, Mississippi, Brad began his professional career at Ole Miss in 2006 in the Office of Financial Aid. He joined the Study Abroad Office staff in 2011. Brad received an M.A. in History from The University of Mississippi and a B.A. in Political Science from Mississippi State University, where he was a John C. Stennis Scholar and was heavily involved in campus organizations and community politics. As an undergraduate at Mississippi State, he studied abroad in Puebla, Mexico.
Brad's proudest accomplishment is his family. He, his wife, and their five children have called Oxford home since 2003.
