Program Description:

Join Dr. Ellen Foster for this fantastic summer course in Iceland!  The purpose of this course is to expand students’ understanding of geography, geology, history, and literature of Iceland. Particular emphasis will be placed on expanding students’ geographic literacy necessary to prepare K-12 students for the global workforce and how Iceland may serve as a laboratory for student exploration.

GPA Requirements:
Undergraduate students: 2.75 overall with a 3.0 in Education course work.
Graduate students: 3.0

Prerequisites Undergraduates - education majors or education minors who have completed EDCI 352 or admission to Phase II in the School of Education
Graduate students - hold, or eligible to hold, a current teaching license in a K-12 discipline.
