Program Description:
meknes

Study Arabic at the Arab American Language Institute in Meknes, Morocco.  Students study for 8 weeks during the summer in the historic city of Meknes.  Room and half board is included, along with a fantastic cultural program with many visits and opportunities for cultural exchange.

Students can also study for a semester or academic year, with housing in a home stay, cultural programming, and excursions available.

Course Credit 6 hours of various Arabic credit in summer
Full semester load during the fall and spring.  Students can take a combination of courses at AALIM and UMI if desired.
Prerequisites Successful completion with a "C" or better in previous language course; none for beginners
Program Price $5,734 - Summer
$11,100 - Semester
Program Price Includes Tuition, housing in a homestay, two meals per day, program-sponsored excursions, cultural program, international health insurance
Program Price DOES NOT Include UM Study Abroad Application Fee, airfare, some meals, ground transportation in Morocco, textbooks, personal spending money, passport and visa fees
